DTH (Down the Hole) drilling tools represent a high-efficiency solution for medium and large diameter rock breaking. It places the power unit deep within the hole, allowing the axial vibrations of the piston in the hammer to convert compressed air directly into impact energy at the drill bit. This "percussion-rotation" method minimizes energy loss and achieves high straightness and smoothness in the drilled holes, resulting in exceptional rock-breaking efficiency.

DTH tools do not rely on high axial thrust and have no limitation on the drilling depth.
